their battle here on earth. Childhood disease can happen at

anytime, anywhere, to anyone! We need to find better cures

that work for all children and adults!

There is something I must share

Things in life that I'm aware

Can break your heart forever more

It's cancer walking through your child's door.

It comes in silence just like a ghost

It turns into a child's host.

The baby that you have loved so long

Is hearing now a different song.

One that's not a nursery rhyme

Nor one that goes away with time

The parents that have gone through this

And kissed their child one last kiss

Will beg of you to share these words

To make sure each and everyone are heard

Take the time to say you care

We have to find a cure

Childhoods diseases can strike the young and pure

They do not have a preference of gender or age at all

They took our precious children so innocent and small

Please speak out to all of those with power in their hands

Our children need us more then ever to make some clear demands

If illness strikes your child, you'll know just what I mean

It makes a parent mad, it makes a parent mean.

So much money wasted in this world of ours

Lets get more research going, to keep our kids alive

I need to see more children survive.

Pass this message on for the angels in the night.

Or we will watch more children dance in the heavenly lights.
